Tenant Impersonation for Support

When you need to manage a sub-tenant : to set it up or for support or configuration, you will impersonate that tenant.

Why Use Impersonation

The impersonation feature lets you access a sub-tenant for support and management. This is particularly useful for troubleshooting - you can see exactly what the sub-tenant sees and make changes on their behalf.

How to Impersonate a Customer:

  1. Navigate to Tenant in your tenant portal
  2. Find the target sub-tenant in your list
  3. Select the sub-tenant by clicking the view button (on the action column) or clicking the tenant row
  4. The head will show you the sub-tenant you are now impersonating

Switching Back to your Tenant account

To switch back to your Tenant Account got to the header and select the sub-tenant name. The below menu will appear and you can switch your a'ctive context' back to the tenant, or 'reset' your context.


Important Impersonation Notes:

  • All actions are logged with your actual username, not the sub-tenants
  • You have full access to sub-tenants functions while impersonating
  • Use this feature responsibly for legitimate support purposes
  • The audit trail clearly shows when impersonation was used
